Peer Recovery Support Services
What Is Peer Support?
Peer recovery support is non-clinical, voluntary, recovery-oriented support provided by trained peers with lived experience. It complements but does not replace medical care, therapy, emergency services, or licensed treatment.
Recovery-Oriented, Person-Centered, Relationship-Focused
At Prodigal Road Ministries, peer recovery support is grounded in the belief that people who have walked the road of recovery are uniquely equipped to support others on their journey. Our peer support team members are trained, certified, and committed to serving with compassion, integrity, and respect for every individual's unique path.
Peer support is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and rooted in the understanding that recovery is possible for everyone. We meet people where they are — with hope, dignity, and practical support.
